The craft

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do

We reclaim wood that has already been felled, ensuring no living resource goes to waste. This approach lets us create one-of-a-kind pieces while respecting the environment.

01

Reclaimed solid wood

Every piece is shaped from wood that has already been felled — never a living tree. The grain, the knots and the natural edge stay visible, unique from one piece to the next.

02

A base built to your taste

Almost everything is customisable: the material, the shape and the finish of the base are decided with you.

03

Sized to fit your space

Every desk or table can be adjusted to the dimensions of the room it is meant for.

Our material

Wood in its truest form

Les Bois Rustiques MG shapes its desks and tables from solid wood that has already been felled — never a living tree cut for our pieces. Each live-edge slab is reclaimed, then showcased: the grain, the knots and the irregular shape of the edge are an integral part of every piece.

No two desks are alike — each slab carries the shape and markings of the tree it came from. By working wood that has already been felled, we create lasting furniture without wasting any living resource.
